Australia’s favourite mare Black Caviar has continued on her winning way by once again trouncing her rivals in one of her most competitive races to date.

Lining up in the 2013 Group One TJ Smith Stakes at Randwick on Saturday, the quality field were no match to her acceleration and cruising speed.

Trainer Peter Moody acknowledged the significance of the win, saying “That’s the best field she’s ever met”.

It was her 25th consecutive victory, one that has been hailed as her most impressive outside of her Royal Ascot run.

The win, by three lengths, has left many rival jockeys in awe with her dominant performance.

Black Caviar’s unbeaten record has also seen her surpass Kingston Town’s record, recording her 15th Group One race.

She jumped, travelled, ambled up to take the lead in the straight and made the others look second-rate as she cruised to win.

Epaulette ($41) who came from near last, finished behind her with a further 2-1/4 lengths to Bel Sprinter ($13).

Although her immediate and long-term future in unclear, Black caviar’s connections will hold discussions next week.
