The much-anticipated comeback of dual Group One winner Pride Of Dubai is over before it has begun with the colt to miss the spring with a hind leg problem.
Co-trainer Peter Snowden said Pride Of Dubai had suffered bone bruising in a leg and would head to the paddock until mid-November with the stable’s sights now on next year’s autumn carnival.
“He was going so well but there was just an issue there and we were finding it difficult to manage whilst he was in work,” Snowden said.
“It’s not massive, but it’s just enough.”
